Dear Mom and Pop
Yesterday I got three letters from you so here I am writing again. they were dated oct 3, 20, and 24th. I also got letters from Miss Bonie, Grandma Tillotson, and Aunt Elsie. Miss Bonie's letter was quite long and very interesting. I haven't flow since my last letter so there's no real news. So you bought a coat for seventy dollars, eh? Why do you keep buying cheap coats? Next time you get one it will be a fur one cause I'll be there and won't let you get anything else. I got the snaps of Kenny and they sure are swell. I like the way your hair is fixed in the picture of you, aunt Eva and Ken. I have ten pictures on my desk now. My three favorites are pasted right at the front. The one of you and Pa - the one of Robin and Son's picture and the one of the living room. I hope your Impaction has healed OK and that pa's stomach is all right. Try not to catch any of your winter colds this year - stay drunk, that ought to help. Say, in your last two letters Pa hasn't even written a line. What's the matter Pa, let's get one the ball. The letters don't seem complete without a few lines from you. Well, there isn't anymore to say - the weather has turned colder and we've had a cold wind lately, but no rain from some time. My cigars have finally run out so I'm back to the PX rations again. I hope you sent me another pipe even though I didn't ask for one. I'm still waiting for the sweater - it will be swell to wear in the evenings. Well, again I'll close with all my
love,
Rae
