Dear Mom and Pop

Well, guess what happened? I got two more packages from you. One was that swell box of assorted pipe tobaccos and the other had the tuna, shrimp, olives and cigars - funnies and cards. I've already had one can of tuna - we ate it last night while listening to the Ohio State football game. The first pack of tobaco I've tried sue is swell - I hope they're all as good. Not only did I get the packages, but I got three letters today - two from you and one from Unk. That box must have been pretty expensive cause I bought a package of that London Dark once and it cost 50 cents alone. How many points did the cans cost? A lot I bet. I sure do appreciate them - hope it didn't take too many points. In one of the letters I got today were the pictures of you and pop and Unk and Pop. I had to laugh at the one of you and Unk. It looks like you were trying to keep from laughing and Unk was trying to look serious but couldn't keep a sober face. The one I like best of you and pa is the one that shows the whole room. The others have too much light but they're all interesting poses and look quite real. I noticed that you were wearing the locket I gave you mom. Say, does pa wear a tie all the time now or was that just for the picture? He sure looks good. By the way, has he had his teeth taken care of yet???!!!?! He better do it quick or I'll - censored censored censored censored.
