Well - there it is again - I'll start over. Well today - Well I - Well when - Well hell with it. I was going to say I am well but I don't think I will. Oh yes while I remember THE OLIVES AND JAM WERE NOT BROKEN AND THE OLIVES WERE GOOD. Where is my gum, I haven't received any yet? Forget the sox for I still have seven pairs, I just mentioned them if you were in a sending mood. The cookies were all in one piece and were very good. You can send them whenever you want. I should of waited until tomorrow to write this letter for then maybe I would know something about a room, but I guess I can write again. You can get off at Riverside which is about 31 miles from here and there is a Hemet bus that runs regularly back and forth. We are allowed to have visitors on Friday night so you can come out and see me that night if you're not too tired. The visiting hours are from six to eight.

Well, I got my pictures and they are lousy. They're already on the way but Lord knows how you'll get rid of them. As far as I know you can have three to give away to who ever you want - the rest are all given away. I sent one to Doris and one to Bud and Lois. You'll have to see that the following get theirs. (If you sneak them in the house when they're not looking maybe they'll keep them) Mesdames Berry, Midge, Elsie, Bea, Ethyl, and Ruby. I guess I'll have to give one to that dopy Uncle of mine so see that he gets one too. Oh yes if any of the above mentioned do not want a picture, don't force them to take them, except Unk - I won't let him out that easy. Just a word of explanation. When the picture was taken I had just come from Santa Ana and my lips were sunburned. I had a sore on my lower lip that they covered up but they couldn't deflate the lip so it is a bit swollen as you will seen. Other than that it bears a faint resemblance if you can imagine good enough.
