Dear Mom and Pop,
Well here's another letter that's overdue. In my last letter I told you about going to Rome again. I also sent some pictures, be sure to tell me when you get them. You sent me a list of boxes to look for, well so far only Auntie's candy has come. Now according to your estimates of arrival I'm afraid I won't receive the last three packages, so don't send any more.
I expect to be on my way home by the last of May if everything goes according to plan. If we get another siege of bad weather or the war ends it might be a different story. I've got six to go and ought to get them in by the end of April at the rate we've been flying.
I got the colored picture of Connie and I told you how I liked the ones Gif took. I also have the ones of Robin's party. I got three letters today from Connie, Bernice, and you. I've been getting quite a lot lately. Now that the weather is nice around here I've been playing baseball on my free days. I've been flying quite a lot lately so the time goes much faster.
Did I tell you Mac made Captain? Last night there was a Red Cross show so I went to see it. The mission sure was messed up yesterday, we didn't get back until supper time. We haven't had eggs for breakfast for some time now, so I don't get up for breakfast anymore. We had some rain today, but not too much. Will close down now and go to chow.
Love,
Rae
