Dear Mom and Pop,
Well here I am slipping up on writing again. The trouble is there's nothing to write about. I got two letters yesterday, one from Gif and one from Bernice. You asked about the blue bath towels. I got them okay and use them all the time. I'm sure I told you they arrived but maybe not. I also got that book of Bob Hope's and it was okay too. I've received two Valentines from you and they were cute. Say Ma, you said something about standing in line for sheets---what are they, some new-fangled invention?
The day before yesterday was our anniversary of six months overseas and it sure looks like I'll be over here to see the 12 month mark too. I've got 19 missions in now, still five behind Mac. Lew has only got 5 to go. He got so far ahead of us when he went up to France. Well Pa, since I've come back from Capri, about all I drink is cognac and beer.
We've still got our mud. We lost our snow some time ago and it hasn't been cold enough to freeze since then. Be sure to send me Robin's new address as soon as you get it. I got a letter from Connie saying she got the picture you sent. The trouble with that picture is it doesn't look like me.
Well that's about all I can prattle about so I better close for now. If I get a letter today, I'll write again tomorrow.
Love
Rae
P.S. Please send me something to read.
