I'm afraid this is going to be a very short letter for nothing much happens when you're in quarantine. I got a 100 in a physics test and a 93 in maps and charts. I passed a eight week check in code today so I'm not worrying about that any more. We had our pictures taken yesterday as a whole squadron. We have just about three weeks of school left. We have physical inspections every day. He just looks at our throats and chest and wiggles our necks. I went on sick call the other day for my lips were sunburned. Believe it or not I'm getting a little brown.

I got the candy you sent today. I also got the Glen Ellyn News today, too, but no letters. I am sending some money home again - use it on Pa's vacation. I also sent Bud and Lois $25. I didn't like to send the money but I guess it was the best thing to do. You didn't tell me how much the shoes cost.

If we get out this next weekend I think I'll go to the Hollywood Canteen and see some movie stars. Well, that's all I can think of now so I'll have to close.
