Dear Mom,

I kinda missed up on a couple of days but now I'm finally here.. I'll be here for lord knows how long. We're supposed to live in tents but they're all out of tents so for tonight we're staying in the dispensary. It isn't bad - the rats will be here to keep us company. The tents are just like in the last place, but it won't be so bad cause we can fix it up good and comfortable. There's not much to tell yet cause we just got here but maybe the next will be better. The doc stays here too - he's a captain and seems to be a swell guy. Don't think I'll see any action for a few days. You are supposed to get 50 missions before you go home. I don't think we'll get them all in here - this war over here will end too quick. I hope so - here's our new address - 820th Bomb Sq. 848th group APO 520. This will be my permanent address for some time to come. Well that's all for now.
