Well we're still on our way - they finally told us where we were going and my guess was correct. We've been here in this place a couple of days so we had time to go fishing. We didn't catch anything but it was fun trying. There's a little lake here and they have boats that you can take out - row boats and canoes. We had fun rowing across the lake and back even if we didn't catch any fish. During the day we just loaf around or make adjustments on our ship. I still like it just as much as ever - good old "Little Mac." Oh, I'm a foreigner now, imagine that. I'll have to chalk up another country to my credit now. The land up here is pretty rugged but that's about all I can say about it. Oh yes - you can tell Uncle Roy I'm saving coins for him - I can't send them home but I'll bring him quite a collection when I come back. It sure is bad to write a letter when you can't say anything - I don't know what to write about. Lew sure is a good navigator - he hits the destination every time. We won't have to worry about our over water hop. I went to the PX the other day and there's just gobs and gobs of Wrigleys Chewing Gum - any kind you want. I've met quite a few boys up here that went through cadet training with me. Say, don't I have a extra graduation picture around somewhere? If I do see that Doris gets it. She sent me her picture and I told her I'd get her one. I guess that's about all I can think of to tell you for now. Give my regards to the new apartment - you were lucky to find one.

Love,
Rae
